E3 has released the Q3 2026 update to its Resource Cost (RECOST) model, its discounted cash flow tool that calculates levelized costs of energy resources. Drawing on data from Halcyon's Gas Power Plant Tracker, E3 now projects natural gas capital costs will moderate in the 2030s after remaining sharply elevated in the near term.
