POLITICO interviewed Halcyon co-founder Nat Bullard about NAMEPLATE, his new podcast with U.S. utility CEOs. Nat said power demand is growing again after 15 flat years, driven by data centers, electrification, industry and cooling. He said the challenges every CEO shares are building fast enough and coping with more extreme weather. On affordability, he noted that many costs are outside utilities’ control, such as tariffs on the steel used in transformers.
