Every week, Halcyon reviews all the dockets, filings, and exhibits it has processed in the past seven days (8,956 documents added from Oct 1-7). We select around 10-ish favorites, which may include lesser-known items, standout zingers, or simple things we believe deserve more visibility in the information shared among tens of thousands of stakeholders.
I was in New York last week for the event still known as Climate Week, which could today be more accurately described as “energy + finance + AI + data centers + trade + security week.” This expanded rhetorical scope that brings with it both more events (more than 1,000, in fact!) and more talk. Anyone reading this weekly note from Halcyon has probably been deluged with testimonials, LinkedIn posts, thoughtful reflections, and earnest appeals. I’ll spare you those.
Halcyon’s first data product, our Gas Power Plant Tracker, is soon to ship its fourth update. Since its launch, we have added dozens of plants and more than ten gigawatts of total capacity in the U.S. under development.
[Editor's note: Halcyon is now allowing beta testers to use Halcyon Search, new software that allows energy professionals to apply keywords, topics, and filing types as search filters atop Halcyon's catalog of 4.5 million+ authoritative energy documents, dockets and filings.
