“In France they have one kind of nuclear design and a hundred kinds of cheese. In the United States, we have a hundred kinds of nuclear designs and one kind of cheese.” Kim Greene, CEO, Georgia Power

Halcyon CSO and co-founder Nat Bullard, a Georgia Power customer for the first 18 years of his life, sits down with Kim Greene, chairman, president and CEO of Georgia Power. The company started 143 years ago as a gas, electric and railway business, and its hydro dams in north Georgia, some still running after more than a century, powered the state's early growth. Today it serves 2.8 million customers and is building new generation for 13 to 14 GW of contracted data-center demand, while intending to hold retail rates flat through 2028.
